Terms of service

The service
CallPros ([COMPANY LEGAL NAME], "CallPros", "we", "us") connects people who need an urgent local service with nearby, independent businesses ("providers") by phone. When you call a CallPros number, we ring several providers for that service and area at once; the first to answer takes the call. CallPros is a routing service. We are not a provider, we do not perform the work you need done, and any agreement for service is between you and the provider you reach — not with CallPros.
We do not guarantee that any provider will answer, or that a provider who answers will complete the work to your satisfaction. If you have an emergency, call emergency services (911 in the United States) first. CallPros is not an emergency service and should never be used in place of one.
Acceptable use
Do not use CallPros to place fraudulent, harassing, or abusive calls; to misrepresent who you are; to interfere with the operation of the service; or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours. We may suspend or block access for use that violates this section.
Provider terms
Automatic listing. We list businesses automatically using information from public sources, such as Google Places. If your business is listed and you would like it corrected or removed, contact us through the contact page and we will act on your request.
Accounts. A provider may create an account to manage their listing. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Preferred subscription. A provider may subscribe to a preferred slot that rings first for its service and area. The subscription bills monthly and renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not refund partial months. The number of preferred slots per service and area is limited, and subscribing to a preferred slot does not guarantee any particular volume of calls.
Provider conduct. Providers must answer calls in good faith, represent their business accurately, and comply with applicable law in the services they perform. We may remove a listing — free or preferred — at any time, for any reason, including inaccurate information, unresolved complaints, or violation of these terms.
Payments
Provider subscription payments are processed by Stripe. CallPros never receives or stores your card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy govern the payment information you give them directly.
Intellectual property
The CallPros name, site, and software are owned by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] and may not be copied, reproduced, or used to build a competing service without our written permission. Business listing information sourced from public providers such as Google Places remains subject to those providers' own terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CALLPROS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PROVIDER WILL ANSWER A CALL OR THAT ANY WORK PERFORMED BY A PROVIDER WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALLPROS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR DEALINGS WITH ANY PROVIDER, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID CALLPROS, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service, including a provider account or listing, at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason, with or without notice. A provider may cancel their own subscription at any time through the billing portal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
